Training of Doctors Doctors with degrees of D.C., M.D., or D.O. who are approved for matriculation may take live, in-person seminars or online modules and sit for examinations at HBTI. Training for Biomechanical Engineers Biomechanical Engineers generally have a good understanding of force vectors but lack practical understanding of their application to the human body. Modules have been designed for these specialists with emphasis on anatomy, physiology, and how tissues react to trauma. Training for Accident Reconstructionists Accident Reconstructionists generally have the least understanding of how forces from a collision of vehicles affect the occupants therein. Absent the knowledge Doctors have of anatomy and physiology and lacking the education of the mechanics of living things (Biomechanics), the accident reconstructionist is nearly always unqualified to describe whether or how people are injured in collisions. Modules have been designed for those trained in accident reconstruction with emphasis on anatomy, physiology, how forces on the vehicle are applied to the occupants, and how tissues react to trauma. |
